What “package-free” actually means here

The bars are sold without a wrapper — no plastic film, no box, no bottle. That is the whole proposition, and it is worth knowing before it arrives so a naked bar in the parcel is not a surprise.

It also means you need somewhere to put it. A draining dish matters more with a package-free bar than most, because there is no box to keep it in between uses.

Every bar here is vegan and cruelty-free, and made without parabens, phthalates or silicones. The silicone point is the one that matters most for hair: silicones coat the strand and build up, which is what leaves bar-shampoo converts thinking their hair feels waxy on the wrong product.

Using them
