The 100-strip value packs work out considerably cheaper per bandage than the small boxes, and bandages do not expire in any practical sense.
What does “compostable” mean on a bandage?
The strip is bamboo fibre rather than plastic, so it breaks down rather than persisting the way a conventional plastic bandage does. They are also hypoallergenic and free from parabens and latex, which matters if adhesive plasters normally leave you with a red rectangle.
Worth knowing rather than discovering: bamboo has less stretch than a plastic strip, so on knuckles and joints they need a bit more care to seat properly.

The kits
Three sizes: a 29-piece on-the-go travel tin, a 77-piece full first aid kit, and kids' and pet versions. The tins are the useful ones — a glovebox or backpack kit that is not a supermarket plastic wallet.
