Which RADIUS brush, for which age?
The children's range steps up in head size and handle shape as a child's mouth and grip change, so the age on the box matters more than it does with most brands.

Why a replaceable head?
Only the bristles wear out, but a conventional brush makes you bin the handle with them. A RADIUS handle is bought once and kept; after that you buy heads, which come in 2-packs and are a fraction of the size of a whole brush.

How often should the head be changed?
About every three months, or sooner if the bristles have splayed — once they bend outwards they stop reaching along the gumline, which is the part that matters most.
Replace it after a cold or a throat infection too. Bristles hold bacteria, and there is no way to properly disinfect them at home.
The floss
RADIUS floss is a vegan sponge floss rather than a thin waxed thread, in clove cardamom and vanilla mint. The sponge texture expands slightly in the gap, which suits wider spacing between teeth; it is not the one to choose for very tight contacts.
