What's Wrong With It

• Not Affected: The soap is unused, full 283 g weight, and unopened at the inner wrap. The formula, scent and lather are exactly as they should be.

At full price this bar sells partly on its presentation — a rigid magnetic-closure box with foil detailing and a wax-seal accent, ready to hand over as a gift. That is the part that got damaged, so this one is priced as what it now is: a large bar of good soap for your own shower. The crack makes no difference to how it washes. It gets wet, it lathers, and it wears down to a sliver either way. If the loose corner bothers you, it is a perfectly good travel-sized piece.
