How do I build a Wildcraft routine?

Wildcraft names its products by what they do rather than by line, so the routine reads in order once you know the steps. Thinnest textures go on first, richest last.

Which cleanser suits my skin?

There are three, and they are genuinely different rather than three scents of the same thing. The gel cleanser with yuzu and white tea is the brightening one and the most standard starting point. The oil cleanser with tea tree and marshmallow suits congested or breakout-prone skin and removes makeup as it goes. The cream cleanser with chamomile and kaolin is the gentlest, for dry or reactive skin.

The separate CLEANSE makeup remover is for eye makeup and anything stubborn, used before whichever cleanser you settle on.

Which serum does what?

• BRIGHTEN — vitamin C, for dullness and uneven tone
• REVIVE — bio-retinol, the one for texture and fine lines
• REGENERATE and REFINE — daily treatment serums
• RENEW — the eye version, for the thinner skin around the eye

Can I use vitamin C and retinol together?

You can use both, but not in the same application. The usual approach is vitamin C in the morning and the bio-retinol at night, which keeps them apart and puts the antioxidant where daylight makes it most useful.

Introduce a retinol slowly — two or three nights a week to begin with, building up if your skin stays comfortable. If you are pregnant, or using prescription retinoids or acne treatment, check with your doctor or dermatologist before adding one.

Beyond the face
